Good response to Shiatsu Practitioner course changes at the Zen School

"We should be able to finish the course more quickly"
"I'm very happy about the new supervised practice classes"
"Ki-connection should go from better to better"

Thanks for the feedback. And of course for the concerns which I've answered as they came in but will repeat here in case you have the same:

'If all Study-Days are mandatory what happens if I miss one? some Sundays I have to work.'
We are keeping the school's unique flexibility: if you miss a subject (at any level, not just professional) you catch it next time round in the ongoing cycle. The subjects are the same as before and with a 12-month cycle instead of 18 will come round quicker.
Also, you now have to complete only 85% before attempting assessment.

'Will it get too crowded with a shorter course and all Study-Days mandatory?'
I hope not. We keep the focus on small tutorial groups of 4 to 8, and plenary sessions (Study Days) to a maximum of 18. We've always been more into quality of teaching and student-centred learning than gathering numbers.

Keep it coming: I'm happy to hear from you and appreciate your interest. We're waiting till mid-April to update the CourseWork notes on the website just in case you have any late comments which might affect the changes. Everything will be circulated and you will be consulted every step - its your school!
