Sweat Lodge and Meditation Weekend June 17 & 18

Have you done a Sweat lodge yet? One of the many traditions shared by Native Americans and Taoists, purification by sweat is magical combination of 'outdoor sauna' and internal cleansing. The first one I ever went to had such a profound effect that I learned the rituals from a Lakota medicine-man and have been incorporating whenever possible with my Taoist practice since.

I will be running a sweat lodge this weekend 17th/18th June as part of the Foundations of Taoist practice. This sweat lodge is for beginners - a gentle introduction to a wonderful tradition, and is included in the cost of the Step 1 training - which itself offers techniques for stress management, personal grounding and flexibility.

See if you can join me at the Rosewell Centre, South Lincs (Stamford BR), from 10am Saturday - you are welcome to arrive Friday (free overnight accommodation on the dojo floor, or camp free in the meadow. And there are B&Bs in the area too). We finish at 5 pm Sunday.

For directions please click here OR copy/paste http://www.healing-tao.co.uk/rosewell_directions.htm which also gives email and phone info to find out about B&B accommodation.

To sign up for the weekend please click here OR copy/paste http://www.healing-tao.co.uk/ht_foundation.htm or just give us a call at the London Tao Centre and we can organise it by phone: 0700 078 1195.
See you there: to learn something new and have a great weekend.
