HAPPY NEW BEGINNINGS - Joint Newsletter Healing Tao NLP Zen Shiatsu

NLP Talking of new beginnings, this year sees the launch of Healing NLP. To me the attraction of NLP is its precision. Matters are not left to chance or in hope of some abstruse theory working out. The outcome is always successful – what you and your client want, or a clear reason why not. No doubts, no half-ways, no maybes. Either outcome is effective: I can help my clients effect the change they want, or suggest appropriate modifications.

One simple technique, ‘reframing personal history’, was alone worth the whole investment in terms of freeing clients from past baggage, whether they came in the first place for shiatsu, chi nei tsang, cosmic healing or NLP, and I believe this would equally apply to any mind-body therapy.

The Early Bird discount for this year’s Spring training is available till January 10th. Training starts in February please click for more information. These courses are fully accredited with the Society of NLP: your certificate will be signed personally by Richard Bandler, the man who “invented” Neurolinguistic Programming, the system that since 1972 has gained international recognition by helping millions of people change lives – starting with their own.

Anyone involved in training or teaching will find this the best training education on the planet, I believe, (based on my own experience of over 40 years teaching, training and training teachers,) and ideal for CPD (Continuing Professional Development).

TAO And now, a New Year gift of a Taoist story for you. Chapters 1 to 4 of The Story of Su Nu, in hope it will encourage you to read more of this captivating monthly serial of how the girl who became love-goddess and agony aunty to the Yellow Emperor got the job in the first place. Some of it might be a little naughtier than you feel comfortable with so, if in doubt – don’t. On t’other hand if having read it you can offer any feedback to make succeeding chapters more appealing or appalling, let’s have it: generations will be grateful. Click here for a free download of Chapters 1 to 4 in PDF format and here for the latest free Adobe Reader.

Chapter 5, Night of the Dark Moon, is on sale now for just £2.97 click and scroll down to see .
If you experience any download problems, please let us know right away so we can help you sort it. (Sometimes its just a matter of clicking Checkout and then Confirm (ONCE!!! only please) when the order completes.

SHIATSU Someone asked which is the best shiatsu school - I mention this because many adults coming into shiatsu had not thought of starting at the beginning of the school year, in September/October, but in the New Year, a great time for new beginnings.

I don’t think there can be just one ‘best’. Everyone coming into shiatsu is by definition a compassionate person who wants to help others, but different people have different learning requirements. I believe the best school is the one that’s best for you and your needs, and accessible

With a continuous enrolment system you can start any time – join when you like - AND have a choice of part time evening, afternoon, weekend or intensive training, and I believe the Zen School is unique in this flexibility. Many students say flexibility was their chief consideration, along with quality of teaching.

Nationally recognised educational qualifications (Cert Ed, PGCE, MPhil, BSc and BEd on the faculty) as well as specialist shiatsu qualifications and training at source in Japan; the graduate Licence being recognised - without further assessment, by the way - by the British Register of Complementary Medical Practitioners, the General Shiatsu Council and the Zen Shiatsu Society. And, in the ‘real’ world the Zen School is a registered learning provider with the Department of Education and Skills (fCareer Development Loans, Student visas).

All this of course before you take into account the easy-payment schemes, massive discounts for paying in advance, acceptance of major credit cards and, once you’re in, NO LOSS OF FEES for missed classes! Oh yes, and add the warm welcome, the nice people, the being treated as an individual and the Student Reps. And, even before you’ve graduated, the help in building your practice. And did I mention insurance?

Probably the best? I’d say certainly the best - but then I’m biased. Click here to see for yourself and for a school in your area.

SPAM A quick word about spam: spammers have been/are hijacking our email address and sending out emails in our name. Some spammers have been able to duplicate our sending address so it looks like an authentic message. You should be able to tell by the content. We don’t give, lend or sell email addresses to anyone, and spend an hour or two every day sorting the thousands (yes) that pour into our inbox, many purporting to be from ourselves! (Any organisation with an internet presence like ours gets a lot of spam.) We send our emails in packets of less than 50 so they shouldn’t go straight into your bulk-junk-mail box.
