Tai Chi training camp

After a great weekend of Zazendo: zen insight meditation its onwards and inwards to the next event: Tai Chi training camp at Rosewell.

Mantak Chia trained Tai Chi instructors of Universal Healing Tao UK offer a Tai Chi training camp with Tai Chi classes for Beginners Intermediate and Advanced teaching Steel Body Tai Chi and Iron Shirt Chi Kung (qigong/qi gong).

The Summer Tai Chi training camp at the Rosewell Centre, South Lincs, runs from the evening of Tuesday July 19th pm to Sunday 24th July noon

Tai Chi training and Iron Shirt Chi Kung classes run from 7 am to 7 pm daily Wednesday through Saturday (to noon Sunday) with breaks for meals, rest and recreation.

All are welcome: all ages, all levels from absolute beginner, all Tai Chi styles for the experienced.

The Mantak Chia standard form of Tai Chi Chi Kung, a Yang family style of 13 movements. This short, simple and easily learnable form is supported by the DVD Beginners Guide to Steel Body Tai Chi and Mantak Chia’s book Inner Structure of Tai Chi.

Hidden Masters style push-hands and self-defence applications are shown and taught with care, the aim being to develop lightning reflexes, with physical and mental flexibility.

Demonstration of weapons and blindfold fighting give a preview of what lies ahead.

Accommodation: please bring your own tent or you can bed down in the Taoist Tipi or the Yin-Yang Yurt.

Catering: Please bring your own food. We will organise a cooking-rota on the first evening.

The fee is £97 for the whole camp including all classes, demonstrations, camping ground, Tipi or Yurt accommodation, community-cooking firewood. Day visitors also welcome: £30/day

If you prefer not to camp, there is B&B accommodation in the area.
