Summer in the Tao
Taoist Training
Tai Chi summer camp: arrive on the evening of Tuesday 15th July for an early start Wednesday 16th and some good training every day till Sunday 20th. Its always been fun, with all the aspects of Tai Chi from meditation to martial arts, and this year, Taoist Practitioner Assessments - if you've done Step 5, make sure you make it here to complete your TP qualification and permission to teach Basic Tai Chi, Intermediate Chi Kung and Jade Circle/Jade Arrows. The camping is free and the training not expensive at all - sign up on-line here or just come by for a day or two.
The next Foundations Step 1 of the Taoist Training runs on July 26th & 27th at the London Tao Centre, the last before this year's Taoist Summer Retreat at a new and beautiful venue near Glastonbury in Dorset with accommodation for both singles and couples and a refreshing new programme. The Retreat (1st to 9th August) covers Steps 2 and 3 of the Foundations of Taoist Practice plus you need Step 1 to qualify - just to make sure its right for you. Can you lie still for twenty minutes and get pampered for a great cause, making a difference by taking the bliss and enjoying stress relief + satisfaction when you make a donation to Help a London Child. A little goes a long way to help a little one on their way. Celebrate with us on Friday 4th July, no need to book, just come by anytime between 7 am and 7 pm, at the Zen School of Shiatsu 1st Floor 68 Great Eastern Street EC2A 3JT, just by the corner with Garden Walk and across the road from the Hoxton Hotel. A few steps from Old Street Tube on the Northern Line, a little further from Liverpool Street. (find us with a click:)
Now, if sadly you can't make the time to come in for a wonderful shiatsu massage then help a London child by sponsoring a shiatsu practitioner with pounds per hour giving shiatsu treatments
Children in need and in danger all over the world cry out for our help. The nearest cry is the loudest, the cry of our own kids here at home in our London. The best way to understand how HALC helps is to read the stories of children who've benefited from donations to Help a London Child.
And if you can't make it to any of the events then please donate online with a click here
And if you have done any kind of shiatsu yourself, no matter when, please spare some time to come in and give treatments at the Zen School, or visiting offices, or getting sponsored. We need your help and you will receive a Certificate of Participation in the first London Shiatsuthon to Help a London Child in association with Capital Radio, plus obvious benefits for developing your practice.
If you or your friends live or work near the Zen School then TREAT YOURSELF or them on 4th July to 20 minutes wonderful shiatsu before work, after work, lunch break or book time off work, or call Marta 07722 566010 for a Zen Squad Therapist to visit you at work!
