Taoist Training Events in June

Chi Nei Tsang
Book in for Chi Nei Tsang Specialist Training Weekend on 9th & 10th June. CNT Level 1 Practitioner is a degree-equivalent qualification you can complete in less than two years, or the preliminary certificate, Healing Tao Shiatsu, in nine or ten months. Chi Nei Tsang combines well with other forms of healing and bodywork. Learn more

Foundations
The next Step 1 combines Taoist with Native American traditions over the weekend 16th & 17th June. Taoist Training runs from 10am to 5 pm both days, with a ‘sweat lodge for beginners’ after dinner Saturday night. Learn more about Step 1 training and registration.
The venue is the Rosewell Centre in South Lincolnshire, an hour and a half or so from London. The nearest station is Stamford.
Free camping, or bring sleeping bag and sleep on a futon in the communal training room (with underfloor central heating), or ask Sue* for advice on a local B & B.

If you’re on the Shiatsu Advanced or Combined Course, the cost of the Step 1 weekend is included in your course fee, so you only have to pay to get there. The weekend saver is about £39 with regular trains from Kings Cross. Check the timings from London and elsewhere to Stamford.

This is the second last Step 1 weekend (the next is at the end of July in London) to qualify for the annual Healing Tao Summer Retreat in August that for many has proved the experience of a lifetime. Step 1 is a tantalizing taster to start and the meadow is beautiful.

Wonderful Backrub
Summer connects feelings of the heart; the sense of touch…and everybody likes a nice backrub. Partner shiatsu is at the Zen School of Shiatsu 23rd and 24th June, including tips about the special points that ‘do it’, from hangover remedy to appetite control, to subtle stimulation for those special moments, to that most wonderful feeling of relaxed wellbeing. Later in July, the Zen Day Out on July 1st and the London Shiatsu Marathon – Shiatsuthon – on July 4th. 28th & 29th July have the last Step 1 before the summer retreat.
