Think of me in an English Garden

and a native American sweatlodge and a Finnish sauna and a beautiful swimming pool, along with a couple of dozen Taoist friends. At last the Seventh Summer Retreat and thanks for the blessings of it. We are nearly full to capacity which is very happy-making, and also evenly balanced Yin and Yang. Thank goodness, sardonically, that not everyone who said they would come could make it but we know by now they rarely do. My old teacher used to say, if he had a pound for everyone who said they'd do a course he'd never have to run any!

There we'll be, leafing lazily through the new Taist training prospectus which should hit your doormat any day now. There's an exciting time ahead - living in the moment of course - with the Shiatsu-for-Lovers weekend in September, Master Mantak Chia London visit in November, me going on holiday in December, and the Taoist Training Season starting again next year. The Tao of the Shaman over Easter is a chance for hardy souls to show their dedication to "the practices" and soon after that, Beltane! our favourite fire festival coming round again. We have the Tai Chi camp again next summer - it was so great this year, you MUST come next - and another weekend of Zazendo...click here for all the dates.

A few Steps 1 in the meantime before next year's retreat, including one in Dublin along with Chi Nei Tsang and Cosmic Healing. I keep my fingers crossed for more of those of the fair city to make the humungous step across the sea to the summer retreat - only one has made it so far. Come on, folks! it ain't that bad - more than 100 have survived to date!!

Enjoy August. I leave you with the latest Chia offering, The Multi-Orgasmic Woman, a good summer read (but why on earth did the publishers choose 29th July to launch in the UK? they should know we have things other than reading about orgasms on our minds at this time of the year.)

Don't forget me, little GoogleBot spider, I'll be blogging again after 21 Aug.
