Sign up for Abundance

Happy Chinese New Year of the Pig

If this is the year you have decided to bring a little more abundance into your life then I would say, good timing! Like Turkey for the Native American, Pig in the Taoist tradition is the symbol for Giveaway, or Abundance. “The pig is made to be eaten.” Whatever your eating preferences you can benefit from the abundant blessings to be enjoyed under the Sign of the Pig.

Now I for one suspect that the universe likes a helping hand in giving away blessings – maybe you know the story of Jimmy who after hearing the “ask and you shall receive” sermon, prayed every week to win the lottery. After several weeks of not he turned his disillusioned eyes to the sky, saying “so much for promises.” Whereupon a great voice echoed from the clouds, “Help me out here, Jimmy. At least buy a ticket.”

Getting abundance means first asking, then allowing it to manifest, and then accepting. Giving that helping hand - allowing it to manifest – involves doing things a little differently, generating a little change, opening the door to let abundance stream in.

Now of course I have no idea how you feel about the whole question of abundance, but I do know there exist specific ways and means to allow it into your life in terms of more personal satisfaction, spiritual and personal development; friendship or romance; more money in your bank account or goodies in the shopping basket; better provision for your family; greater job satisfaction or career enhancement; healing or helping others; more success in any form.

I sometimes wonder how life would be if nothing ever did change. Stability, security, eternal love and the comfort of prenatal heaven? OK when things are fine. But what about when change makes things even better – could you be reading this without the internet? Yes, but on paper made from trees. Google and iTunes are examples of changes that benefit us with abundance of information and entertainment and, of course, bring abundance to their innovators, who succeed by doing new things or finding new ways to do old things: faster, better, with less expense, more efficiency, and lower cost to the planet.

In the world of medicine, we hear how laser surgery is replacing the butcher’s toolkit. More cures, less pain, quicker recovery. In the world of mind, we see fast and effective NLP replacing less reliable more laborious methods of teaching, learning and generating change for the better in self and others.

Welcome, Piglet, so far a Very Small Animal. Let’s grow in abundance together! Come and learn new stuff, do some courses, make things happen, create and share - change lives, start with yours!

Take YOUR chance to make a difference: help yourself to help others. Rewards on earth, credit in heaven. At least buy a ticket.

Best
