The annual Tai Chi Summer Camp was great fun with a fine young warrior taking his first steps, novices developing their practice and some of the more experienced attaining certification to teach Basic Tai Chi and Intermediate Chi Kung. Take a look
Our Jade Circle Facilitators celebrated the visit of the Jade Goddess from Hawaii, learning new ways of doing ancient practices. Her book (with foreword by Mantak Chia) and CD will soon be available in our on-line catalog. She returns next year, last weekend in June. Details will be in the printed prospectus which should be falling through letterboxes in the next couple of weeks. Note the next Jade Circle is on Wednesday 5th September and starts at 6.30 pm – pick up the latest from the Goddess.
Our Taoist Summer Retreat filled up quickly this year. Sadly, for the first time, we have had to turn people away. In 2008 its from 1st to 9th August so – diary note, please!
September sees the opening of bookings for Master Mantak Chia’s November visit, - fingers poised over keypads on September 1st. Places this year are strictly limited so when its full its full and we won’t be able to ‘squeeze you in’ at the last minute. I will post a running place-availability update on the Visit Page. And its not too early to volunteer to assist (ps, volunteers have to pay too, sorry) so if you’re up for it, click here and say so.
Also in September, Foundations Step 4 overnight 8th to 9th;
then an Intimate Tantric Massage for Couples weekend 22nd & 23rd bring your partner or buddy;
and the next Foundations Step 1 on Saturday and Sunday 29th and 30th
Healing NLP
24th to 31st August 8-Day Intensive Practitioner training, at the Healing NLP Institute @ Zen School of Shiatsu, for a Practitioner Certificate recognised and accredited by the Society of NLP. Read all about it and supercharge your healing power. (NLP began as a healing therapy – the marketeers turned it into something else, but we hold the original spirit of compassion. It is one of the most effective forms of healing I have encountered and really makes a difference to Shiatsu and Taoist diagnosis and treatment.)

Congratulations to Megan and Jacob on the birth of their son Lorian Seth Chadwick (9lbs) at 2.43pm on Thursday 26th July.
What a wonderful crop of little piggies we’re having in this Year of Abundance!
